Tumble-Shotblasting Machine

These are shotblasting machines in which the parts being cleaned are made to tumble. This type of process covers a wide range of applications. In general, it can be said to be suitable for treating any element with a shape and of a material that allows it to be tumbled. All tumble-shotblasting machines can easily be integrated into continuous manufacturing processes, and can be fitted with different automatic abrasive delivery and loading and unloading systems. We have several models of tumble-shotblasting machines:

  • Continuous-rotation rubber belt: Allows uniform surface treatment due to the gentle, constant tumbling of the parts. The band is highly resistant to wear and is perforated to allow used shot to escape. There is a wide range of models, with capacities suitable for all needs.

  • Continuous-rotation metal-drum. These are suitable for treating bulk components that can be tumbled. The gentle, continuous rotation of the drum provides uniform cleaning of the parts. The drums are constructed entirely of wear-resistant steel, with no moving parts, avoiding risks both for the parts being processed and for the machine itself.

  • Continuous-belt models. Specially designed for continuous-flow manufacturing. They have the advantage that they allow gentle, continuous tumbling of the parts, while at the same time, the throughput can be adjusted by changing the running speed or the inclination of the belt.

  • Reversing metal-drum. The special design of these models provides uniform, continuous processing in high-volume applications. Their main advantage, as in the case of continuous-rotation drum models, is that they are constructed entirely of wear-resistant steel with no moving parts, giving them great durability and low maintenance requirements.
